Some must-try eateries for Middle Eastern fare in Delhi

Middle Eastern dishes and the usage of ingredients in them are almost similar to our cuisine back home. Be it Lebanese, Moroccan, or Arabian fare, there is something about it that reminds us of our traditional cooking. Delhi has become a melting pot of many cuisines off late and we take a look at some of the best places to get some Middle Eastern food in the city.

1) Zerzura

This place named after an ancient desert city is known for its themed nights apart from the food. They have an inside section with a bar, DJ booth, and yellow lighting. The outside area is beautifully decorated with Moroccan lamps, and private seating arrangements. Some of the signature dishes are Crushed Lamb Kibbeh Pizza, Tagine Of Artichoke, Potatoes and Saffron, and Rosemary and Honey Ice-cream.

2) Rrala’s Habibi

Traditional Arabic music wafting across the hall, and artificial palm trees, and Arabian paintings and scenes around. This place is sure to make you feel you are not in Delhi but in the Middle East! They also have Syrian and Turkish dishes on their menu. The best bets in the menu include Mohamara, Warak Inab, and Kofta Kebab.

3) S Bar and Lounge

This place was earlier called Shalom. Their Sufi nights are a must attend and their comfortable lounge seating will take you back again and again. S Bar was one of the first places to serve Middle Eastern fare and some of their best dishes include Shish Taouk, Malsouka, and Vegetarian Mezze Platter.

This place is a must-try for those in love with authentic Lebanese food but are also conscious of their wallet. Organic ingredients are used in their dishes that are light on the stomach. Do try their Moutabel, Fattoush, and Baklava.
